About This Place

Located in the heart of Olean, NY, Broken Wing Pizzeria and Grille is a lively bar & grill that brings together delicious comfort food and a welcoming, no-frills atmosphere. This neighborhood staple is perfect for those seeking hearty meals paired with cold drinks, all served up in a space that feels like a genuine community hub.

Broken Wing’s menu showcases a variety of mouthwatering options, with signature sandwiches that are as generous in size as they are in flavor. The Keis Cuban stands out as a savory masterpiece—succulent roasted pork shoulder hand-pulled to perfection, layered alongside thin slices of ham, Swiss cheese, zesty dill pickles, and mustard, all nested within a freshly baked 12-inch roll. Another favorite, the Italian sandwich, offers a delightful melange of ham, salami, pepperoni, and capicola accented by provolone cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, and garlic mayo, lightly toasted to bring the flavors together. For those who crave classic deli flavors, the Reuben with tender corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, melted Swiss, and creamy 1,000 island on rye bread is a satisfying choice.

The grill’s salads provide fresh, vibrant alternatives with hearty chops of grilled or crispy chicken, traditional ingredients like olives, feta, and pepperoncini, and crisp greens dressed to perfection. Whether it’s the Greek Salad or the robust Italian Salad, these dishes bring a refreshing balance to the menu and cater beautifully to those looking for lighter fare without sacrificing taste.

Complement your meal with classic sides—hand-cut fries dusted with coarse-grained salt, creamy cole slaw, or a crisp side salad—that all add that extra touch of comfort and homestyle goodness. The cozy, casual setting of Broken Wing invites diners to relax, whether coming for a casual lunch, a lively night out with friends, or to enjoy live entertainment in the ample bar space.

Customers consistently praise the friendly and attentive service, led by Brian and his dedicated crew, who ensure each visit feels personal and enjoyable. Regulars applaud the generous portions and great value, while newcomers can expect the kind of honest, satisfying food that keeps people coming back. One guest raved about the personal pizzas—hand tossed with a crispy crust and topped with just the right balance of sauce and cheese—while others appreciate the cold draft beers on tap and the approachable, laid-back vibe of the space.

Broken Wing Pizzeria and Grille might not be fancy, but therein lies its charm. It’s a clean, welcoming spot where guests can savor hearty burgers, expertly crafted sandwiches, and wings that deliver big bold flavors. This is a place to kick back, enjoy good company, and indulge in genuine bar & grill fare made with care.

There's nothing pretty about the place. It's a bar that serves food and that's obvious soon as you are inside. There's enough floor space to handle a live entertainment venue. If you like that type of atmosphere you'll be fine. Burgers are a bit pricey. That said, my companion was unable to finish his due to it's size and he had no complaints about it. For just a few dollars more I opted for the fisherman's platter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Priced reasonably, cooked just right and of very good quality. The bar tender was also our waitress. She was pleasent and attentive. Will likely go there again.

I give this place a 5...I love their cream of mushroom soup. It's wonderful, the only problem they don't make it that often..maybe after reading this they'll make it at least once a month. They are very nice and if you're not satisfied with anything they will make it right! I highly recommend this place for locals and when visiting! Enjoy!

We frequent this place often and get great food every time, whether we dine in or take out. The staff is always friendly, and Brian works hard to keep it that way and it shows! Ordered a large pepperoni sausage and mushroom with extra cheese the other day and it was awesome! If you want to go somewhere for a drink and something to eat and chill, this is THE spot!! Thanks Brian and Crew for a great place to go!

Loved everything we ordered!! The Cuban sandwich was excellent and huge enough to split. The Cole slaw was cool, creamy and a touch sweet. French fries were real potatoes with the skin on and coarse grained salt. Hand tossed specialty personal pizza had tasty crust, great sauce and generous toppings. Such great food and a nice cold beer on tap cannot be beat. The price was reasonable and the service was friendly and efficient. Love this place!

Pleasant atmosphere for lunch. Good portion size, though the Cuban sandwich I ordered was kind of bland. Nice staff. Food came in a reasonable time and our waitress was friendly and responded well to us.

Service was good, despite full parking lot at the time. Seating well exceeds visible parking. Two dart boards, one pool table, and multiple televisions for entertainment. Selection of beer included local brews and the average taps. Light atmosphere with a local feel.
